Delta CEO is confident about moving forward with order of Boeing Max 10s

Delta Air Lines intends to move forward with an order of Boeing 737 Max 10 aircraft, even as Boeing grapples with issues surrounding the Max 9 model. The troubled history of the Max aircraft, which began deliveries in 2017, has affected Boeing’s competitiveness against rival Airbus. Despite these challenges, Boeing still controls over 40% of the market share. Delta Air Lines plans to take delivery of 100 Max 10s starting in 2025, which will be the company’s first Boeing order in over a decade. Delta CEO Ed Bastian emphasized the importance of full confidence in the safety and security of the aircraft before taking delivery.
